The Knicks star was joined by his wife, Dr. Alison “Ali” Marks Brunson, and their 1-year-old daughter, Jordyn, during New York City’s ticker-tape parade and victory rally on Thursday. The celebration came after the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games to capture the franchise’s first NBA championship in 53 years.

Brunson was spotted carrying Jordyn as he made his way through the crowd alongside his family and teammates. Fans lined the streets chanting “MVP!” as the point guard greeted supporters during the historic celebration.

The toddler proudly showed her support for her father in a tank top that read, “New York my dad’s the MVP Hallelujah,” paired with a blue Knicks-themed headband. Ali coordinated the family look in a white tank featuring Brunson’s jersey number, jeans, braids, and black sunglasses.

Later, during the team’s victory rally at City Hall, Brunson thanked team owner Jim Dolan, his teammates, coaches, and Knicks fans before ending his remarks with a tribute to his family.

“I want to say thank you to Jim Dolan in the front office for believing the kid no one else would,” Brunson said with City Hall and his teammates behind him. “Thank you to my teammates, giving me confidence every single day. The belief we had in each other made this possible. Thank our coaching staff, our medical staff, everyone that pitched in every single day behind the scenes. Damn. We really did it, dog. Somehow, someway, I knew we were going to find a way to get this done. Most importantly, thank you to the fans. I’m not going to lie though, y’all are some pretty hard critics, but we appreciate it. At least I do. Appreciate it a lot.

“Lastly, I want to thank my family,” Brunson added. “Truly without them, their sacrifice and everything will be possible. My inner circle, I mean, they keep me humble every single day. They don’t let me get off track for nothing.”

The celebration also drew several celebrity Knicks fans, including Martha Stewart, Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Mariska Hargitay, and Ben Stiller.
