VYBZ KARTEL MEETS DAUGHTER FOR THE FIRST TIME: “HUMBLED ME DEEPLY”

Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel is opening up about a major family moment.

The dancehall artist recently met his daughter, Amani, for the very first time and shared photos from the emotional meeting on Instagram.

“Words could never fully express how happy I felt in this moment,” Kartel wrote. “Meeting my daughter Amani for the very first time has filled my heart in ways I can’t even explain.”

In the photos, Kartel posed beside Amani outdoors near a pool surrounded by palm trees. The teenager wore a pink striped top, jeans, and black glasses while standing close to her father for the pictures.

Kartel also admitted the moment left him emotional.

“I never thought a woman could make me nervous,” he wrote. “But standing beside my daughter for the first time humbled me deeply.”

The artist went on to reflect on faith, growth, and what the moment meant to him personally.

“Life has a way of reminding you what truly matters, and moments like these make everything feel bigger than yourself,” he continued. “God has truly been the driving force in my life, and every single day I count my blessings. Through every season, every lesson, every victory and every storm… His timing has always been perfect.”

Fans quickly flooded the comments section with supportive messages after he shared the post.

Another commented, “Looks just like her sister.”

Vybz Kartel is a father to seven known children with several different mothers. His oldest sons, Jaheim Palmer and Akheel Palmer, are better known to fans as Likkle Vybz and Likkle Addi. The brothers first performed together as part of the group PG-13 before later rebranding as UTG, short for Uptown Gaza.

Both sons have continued building careers in music and have collaborated closely with their father over the years. They were also featured on Kartel’s project Of Dons and Divas.
