“We pulled over at Walmart went to the arts and crafts section grabbed 3 shirts and decided to compete on who can make the best SCAD SHIRT,” Tyrese wrote on Instagram.

He added, “Of course I smoked them both.”

The post also included an older beach photo of Tyrese and Norma during her pregnancy with Shayla. Text across the image read: “Gibson Heir In the oven.”

The carousel quickly caught fans’ attention because it showed a rare public family moment between Tyrese and Norma after years of ups and downs surrounding their co-parenting journey. The former couple previously faced a lengthy custody battle over Shayla that often played out publicly over the years.

The focus now, however, appears to be on supporting Shayla as she closes out high school and prepares for college life.

Over the last few days, Tyrese has documented several major milestones for the teenager, including her recent prom celebration.

Alongside the prom video, Tyrese reflected on watching his daughter grow up and prepare for her next chapter.

“This is my first born, Shayla Gibson… The heir to the Gibson legacy and empire that I’m still building brick by brick,” he wrote in part.
