Ciara and Russell Wilson are celebrating a special moment today. The couple’s daughter, Sienna Princess Wilson, has officially turned nine.
Russell took to Instagram to share a series of photos of Sienna over the years. In one snapshot, he and Ciara posed with their daughter as she got ready for a flag football game.
In the caption, Wilson reflected on how quickly time has passed.
“Already 9 years old?!?! Sienna you continue to amaze us every day with the incredible young lady you’re growing up to be babygirl! Daddy & Mommy love you so much!!! God has put such a bright light inside of you and we love watching you let it shine brighter. Happy Bday SiSi! We love you so much!!!❤️ @ciara,” he wrote.
Sienna has grown up in the spotlight alongside her siblings, and she is already starting to show where her interests lie.
Earlier this year, she stepped out with her older brother, Future Zahir Wilburn, at the Fashion Scholarship Fund’s 89th Annual Gala, where both kids spoke with E! News about what they see for their future. They both had the same answer: football.
Sienna made it clear she is ready for the challenge. “If they make a football team for the girls, I’d do that,” she said. “If they have one, if they make one, which they should.””
Ciara reacted in real time, smiling as she spoke about her daughter’s confidence and energy. “She’s such a little athlete like me, but she’s also sassafras,” she said. “I love that she’s so fearless, though. She loves playing flag football.”
Sienna jumped back in before her mom could finish the thought. “I wanna play tackle, mom.”
Ciara continued, “See, she’s really tough, but I love that because if you think about the world of women in sports and, like, the opportunity for girls… I love that, at such a young age, she’s so fearless and believes in herself. So yeah, why not girls, baby?! Why not?!”
