Sire Jackson is headed to 7th grade! The 12-year-old son of rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent and model Daphne Joy Narvaez just wrapped up 6th grade and his proud mom couldn’t be more excited about the milestone.
To celebrate the special moment, Daphne Joy recently took to her Instagram Stories to share sweet snaps of her and Sire standing beside festive “Congratulations” balloons and a large number six display.
“Sixth grade yay,” she captioned one photo, smiling with pride over her son’s accomplishment. In another image, she wrote, “Can’t wait to embarrass you for the rest of your life. I love you, son.”
When not busy with school, Sire spends much of his time playing video games, goofing around with his dad , and slowly learning about the business he’s expected to take over one day.
In a 2024 interview with Us Weekly, 50 Cent opened up about the legacy he’s building for Sire. “That’s the idea. What’s left of me will be there for him to run with. At the end of it, that’s what it’s about,” the Power star said.
He explained that he’s introducing Sire to the business world slowly and intentionally.
“When I can get him away from the video game? Yeah, that’s what I’m talking to him about. I don’t want to overwhelm him or give him so much where it feels like you’re putting pressure on him to understand things he’s not [ready for]. So it’s really basic stuff, because he’s a young 12. I was off to the races already by the time I was his age. [Laughs.] I had a lot more experience”, he said.
Among the businesses 50 Cent has created is Sire Spirits, a luxury liquor brand named after his son. According to the entrepreneur, Sire is already starting to see himself in the company.
He continued, “But he does look at [Sire Spirits] like it’s his company. The actual stars of the teams [we’ve partnered with, like the Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards] draw the attention of the kid, and then he sees himself in it.”
