“Chloe, I think, is still in shock,” Savannah shared while appearing on NewsNation’s On Balance with Leland Vittert. “She doesn’t want to get her hopes up, because she feels like something bad is going to happen. But I’m excited to be going to get my dad and bringing him home to her. We’re excited.”

The famous couple, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were sent to prison for their 2022 financial crimes. When they were sent to jail, Savannah took over the parental duties of her youngest brother, Grayson, and Chloe.

Chloe is the biological daughter of Todd’s son Kyle Chrisley, 33, and his ex-girlfriend, Angela Johnson. Todd and Julie adopted Chloe in 2016 after Kyle struggled with substance abuse.

A few months ago, the 27-year-old set the record straight, addressing how comments about Chloe were “hurting” the youngest Chrisley’s feelings.

“My heart, honestly, breaks for Chloe because Chloe has not had an easy upbringing. Her biological parents turned their backs on her from a very young age,” Chrisley said in an interview with People Magazine. “When my parents got custody of her, her biological father [was] completely out the picture [and] mother [was] out of the picture. That was their choice.”

She continued, “When Chloe looks at me, she’s like, ‘That’s my sister.’ When people look at my dad and say, ‘Well, that’s Chloe’s grandpa.’ Chloe’s like, ‘Why do they keep saying that?’”

“So, when people make these public comments, they always want to put titles on things. When in reality, all they’re doing is hurting her. They’re hurting the child.”

Todd and Julie Chrisley were serving prison sentences for bank fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. The reality television couple was released from federal prison on May 28 after receiving a pardon from the current administration. The Chrisley’s have a new reality television show in the works.
