Ryan Jackson is one budding young actor that has appeared in projects such as: A Lesson in Beauty, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and most recently, the Netflix hit, starring alongside, Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, Back in Action. Like most boys his age, Ryan is a gamer.
I love playing video games! My favorite is definitely Minecraft, but I also play Roblox with my siblings and Fortnite with my friends.
Ryan thinks in quarters, innings, and overtime.
I’m super into sports, especially basketball and baseball. My favorite teams are the Dodgers and the Lakers, and I’m a huge fan of Mookie Betts and LeBron James—they’re so cool to watch.
His best bud’s name is Russell who thinks the bed is a king-sized throne, for one—him.
I have a four-year-old Maltese Poodle named Russell. He’s the best! He sleeps on my bed every night, even though he takes up way too much space for such a small dog.
Ryan would probably nominate Taco Tuesday to be a national holiday if he could.
I could eat Mexican food every day. Living in L.A., we have some of the best tacos and burritos ever. Those are always my go-to—simple but so good.

Acting isn’t the only industry talent that he’s good at.
I like to sing, and my favorite song to sing is “Love” by Musiq Soulchild. My grandparents have also introduced me to a lot of songs from the Motown era and honestly, they’re really good.
Ryan can turn sheet music into magic.
I also play piano, and my favorite song to play is Mozart’s Sonata No. 16. I like to figure out songs I hear on the radio and make my family guess what I’m playing. It’s always fun to see who can get it first!
He has been acting for awhile.
I’ve been acting since I was 9. My first audition was for a short film, and I got the part! But even before that, I loved being in school plays and dance performances.
Olives are not a part of his favorite foods list.
My least favorite food is olives. I don’t get how people eat them—they taste like they came out of a trash can.
Ryan’s best set memories is full of laughter.
One of the best on-set memories I have is filming this gas station scene for a project. My character was super grossed out, and the director, Seth, kept giving me funny new lines to say. I was trying so hard not to laugh the whole time.
Ryan has dreams in cherry blossoms and bullet trains.
I’ve always wanted to travel to Japan. Everything about it seems amazing—the food, the culture, and even the way it looks. I feel like it would be the coolest trip ever.
