Shemar Moore recently stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show, where he proudly celebrated his role as a #girldad. During the conversation, the SWAT actor opened up about how the birth of his daughter, Frankie, brought newfound purpose to his life.
“[Frankie] is the reason I’m so damn happy, and my girl Jesiree [Dizon],” he said in his interview.
“That’s my little baby girl. That’s my miracle. That’s little Frankie.” “That girl truly has given me purpose,” he added. “She saved my life.”
Moore continued his interview confessing that after is mother’s death in 2020, he began to question his place in the world.
“My mama was my everything,” the 54-year-old said. “I lived my whole life to make her proud and when she left, I was lost.”
He continued, “I was in a place of so what, like what does it all mean and why am I doing this. And, then little Frankie came along and that’s what it’s all about right there.”
Moore and his girlfriend, 41-year-old Jesiree Dizon, welcomed their daughter, Frankie Melelina Kapule Moore, to the world in 2023. The Criminal Minds alum has said on many occasions that Frankie’s birth was orchestrated by his mother and God.
“Y’all know that Mama’s up in heaven and her dream was to see this happen. She wanted to be a grandma, and Mama made sure I wasn’t alone. And, I can’t prove it, but I think between God and my Mama, they made sure that I wasn’t alone.”
In addition to Frankie, Dizon is also mother to a teenage son, Kayden and another daughter, Charli.
When asked if he would like to add more children to the family, Moore previously told People Magazine that, as of right now, they already have a “full house.”
“… Ms. Thing [Dizon], she’s already got two wonderful kids — her son, Kayden, who’s 17, and her little daughter Charli, who’s 6 — and they’re sweethearts. And then we got little Frankie. We got our dog, Tyson. So we got a full house.”
