The 70-year-old began her post’s caption, “Happy New Year to all!!!”

She continued, “So Many things to be grateful and Thankful for ! Most of all my wonderful daughters and my great sons in Laws , my grandchildren , my sister and Brother , the best friends and sisters in Christ!!!! Thank you our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ our lord and savior . We made it to 2025 !!!! Knowles, mother of Beyonce, Solange, and bonus mom to Kelly Rowland, has always been a constant presence in her girls’ life as they embarked upon their careers. The mama bear told Glamour Magazine, in her “Woman of the Year” interview that she started doing hair in order to “… earn my keep so that I could travel with them because I wanted to protect them.”

Well, that protection has unquestionably extended to the next generation and Knowles is very outspoken and fearless in her protection of her grandchildren.

In the same “Woman of the Year” interview, Knowles made it clear that her grandchildren are off limits. “You mess with my grandchildren, though, I’m coming,” the grandmother said. “Because they’re minors, and they didn’t ask to be in this.”

Knowles is grandmother to Solange’s 19-year-old son, Julez Smith and to Beyonce’s three children: daughter Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7.

Knowles did admit to the outlet that being a grandparent is much easier than being a parent.

“I’m not as stressed out about how they’re going to turn out. I don’t have that responsibility. So I can buy all the noisy toys that get on their parents’ nerves and do things that I didn’t get to do with my kids. It’s the best.”
