Yandy Smith brought her family to the premiere of Mr. Santa: A Christmas Extravaganza at the Riverside EpiCenter in Atlanta on Wednesday, December 4th.
For the special occasion, Smith was joined by her husband Mendeecees, their two children, Omere and Skylar, as well as Mendeecees’ oldest son, Mendeecees Jr.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the entrepreneur shared her excitement with fans, posting a series of photos from the event.
“Pinch Me…Am I dreaming? @mrsantathemovie had a Premiere in Atlanta last night. A packed house of so much love!!! I didn’t get to take a picture with all the people I love but I felt you, I heard you and I’m forever grateful for you all being there for my first ever live performance for a soundtrack.”
The premiere was especially meaningful for Yandy, who not only co-produced the film but also debuted a song on the movie’s soundtrack.
“Can’t even believe I have a song on a soundtrack. Mr Santa The Movie will be in a theater near you Dec. 6. Shout out to the whole cast, my producing partners and the director and writer @noel.calloway.films,” she shared on Instagram before the film’s premiere.
She added, “Not only did I have the honor of being a producer on this magical film, but I’m also debuting my brand-new song “Home for Christmas” on the soundtrack!”
Mr. Santa: A Christmas Extravaganza is a holiday film about three music-loving teens who must fight to keep their Christmas show alive.
When they face opposition from the popular kids, a surprise substitute teacher—Santa Claus—comes to the rescue. The film features a talented cast, including Tommy Davidson, Geoffrey Owens, and Wakeema Hollis.
Written by father-daughter duo Kellen and Noel Calloway, the movie promises to be a feel-good addition to the season.
