In what is destined to become one of the top moments of all time on The Jennifer Hudson Show, singer and songwriter Muni Long delivers an unforgettable surprise for Tatum Galberth, leaving both the audience and Tatum herself in awe. Watch as Muni brings a touch of magic to Tatum’s day, turning a regular interview into a super fun and adorable duet.
Six-year-old Tatum Galberth from Washington, D.C, and her father are not strangers to the internet nor The Jennifer Hudson Show. Recently, the adorable young rising star, once again, went viral for singing Muni’s hit “Made for Me.” Of course, it was Tatum’s dream to meet Muni and Jennifer Hudson made it happen!
The R&B superstar and Tatum joined voices for a unforgettable rendition of “Made for Me,” creating a duet that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on Tatum for years to come.
Before hitting the stage for her duet with Tatum, Muni sat down with the EGOT-winner to discuss her incredible achievement of four Grammy nominations, reflecting on the honor of being recognized by her peers. She also opened up about the inspiration behind her latest album, “Revenge,” and shared a heartwarming glimpse into her family life, revealing that her young son—her “mini-me”—might just be following in her musical footsteps.
Back in August, Muni’s “twin” also shared the stage with her during her performance at Chris Brown’s 11:11 Tour. She held her son on her hip and sang, “Made for Me.” In an interview with 105.3 The Beat, Long shared that “‘Made For Me’ is about the purest form of love”, and her performance with her son truly reflected that.
Muni was married to Raysean Hairston, who, according to Billboard, is one of the co-founders of Long’s label, Supergiant Records. The pair exchange vows in 2014 and recently announced their split in August of this year.
