The holiday season is officially underway at the Mahomes household! Brittany Mahomes recently gave fans a glimpse into their festive preparations through her Instagram stories, where she revealed that the family’s Christmas trees are starting to go up.
In one adorable snap, Brittany’s daughter, Sterling Skye, is seen in matching pink pajamas, carefully hanging colorful orange lollipop ornaments on her tree. The toddler, just shy of her third birthday, has a box of other bright decorations and a shimmering silver tinsel garland within arm’s reach, ready to add her personal touch to the tree.
In another festive photo, Bronze, the Mahomes’ almost two-year-old son, is all smiles as he poses next to a green Christmas tree, proudly holding a gold ribbon roll.
Brittany, 29, teased fans with the caption, “Trees are going up.”
In a recent interview with Pro Football Talk, Patrick Mahomes admitted that he was excited to be on the field again this year for Christmas Day, but at the same time a “little disappointed” that he wouldn’t be home with his family on Christmas Eve.
“I’m a little disappointed I’m going to miss Christmas Eve with my kids and Christmas morning and miss Santa coming,” the NFL quarterback said as he will spend the night at the hotel prior to gameday. “I’ll be able to spend the evening with them and open presents with them then. So, it’ll be a great opportunity. I’m excited for that. We’ll miss the kids a little bit but we’ll celebrate after the game’s over.”
Four months ago, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes shared the exciting news that they’re expecting baby number three. During a gender reveal, the couple revealed they’ll be welcoming another baby girl to their growing family, adding to Team Mahomes.
Patrick and Brittany’s love story began in high school, when he was a sophomore and she was a junior at Whitehouse High School, just seven miles north of Tyler, Texas. After a decade of being together, the couple sealed their bond by tying the knot on March 12, 2022, in a beautiful ceremony in Maui, Hawaii.
