In a candid revelation that resonates with many parents, songstress Halle Bailey recently opened up on Snapchat about her struggles with “crippling anxiety” when it comes to leaving her son for work commitments.
The 24-year-old shared a sad image of herself with a caption that read: “Flying tonight to be somewhere for one day but having crippling anxiety without my son.” She concluded, asking for advice fro her followers. “Any advice for moms who still can’t handle when they have to leave for work?”
In another image, Bailey posted a glass of champagne, writing, “Maybe a little bubbly will help.”
Bailey shares adorable nine-month-old Halo with ex-boyfriend DDG. The couple recently announced that they were calling it quits but still plan on raising their child together as co-parents.
A few weeks ago, DDG commented on the couples split on social media. The rapper and YouTube personality began in his statement, “Dear friends and supporters, After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”
He continued, “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support.”
“Thank you for your love and encouragement,” the 27-year-old concluded.
Bailey and DDG welcomed their son to the world in December of 2023.
