Laila Ali, the daughter of the legendary Muhammad Ali, has left fans in awe after sharing new photos of her kids.
The retired boxing champ, 46, took to Instagram to share snapshots of her son, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr., and daughter, Sydney J. Conway, both of whom have inherited their family’s athletic genes.
The post that really got fans buzzing was a clip of Curtis Jr. at his pediatrician’s office, towering at 6’1″ and 215 pounds.
“My son is 15. Look how huge he looks in the pediatricians office getting a physical for his sports team. 6’1 215lbs. Lookin’ just like an ALI! My father would have loved to see this boys face looking just like his. I thank God he doesn’t want to fight…But if he did…Heavyweight…that would be…whew!” she wrote.
Fans immediately jumped in the comments, pointing out Curtis Jr.’s striking resemblance to his legendary grandfather, Muhammad Ali.
One commenter wrote, “Wow all grown up! Looking like his granddad,” while another added, “WOW! Time flies! I thought that as he got older, he’d eventually look like mom or dad, but his grandfather’s spirit said no! That young man still looks like his grandfather!! Wow! Amazing!”
Later, Laila shared a photo of Curtis Jr. on his way to homecoming, dressed to the nines and showing off that signature Ali charm.
“On the way to homecoming. Where did the years go… still my baby! (Only reason he has those shoes on in the house is because they’re brand new),” she joked.
Not to be forgotten, Laila also celebrated her daughter Sydney with a family photo taken at one of her soccer games. “My favorite girl ever! Daddy face☺️ #Family,” she captioned the post.
Laila Ali and her husband, former NFL star Curtis Conway, welcomed Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr. in 2008, followed by their daughter, Sydney, in 2011. Both kids are growing up fast and clearly taking after their parents, each pursuing their own athletic interests.
