HALLE BERRY HAS A “MOM MISTAKE” MOMENT

We tend to forget that celebrities are indeed people too. They are just like us, in many ways, and are also prone to making mistakes too. Academy Award-winning actress, Halle Berry recently came clean about a “mom mistake” moment that she had which left one of her children in tears.

“My daughter went to the [Never Let Go] screening and I stupidly thought she could handle it,” Berry told E! News in a recent interview. “It was one of my dumb mom moments. She left crying!”

“She was like, ‘Mom, what made you think I wanted to see you like that?’ She’s 16 now. I thought she was old enough, but it was a dumb mom moment!”

Even though, Never Let Go is not going to be on Berry’s daughter Nahla’s top ten favorites list, she and her brother, ten-year-old Maceo, do have a few of their mother’s movies that they enjoy.

The 58-year-old mother told the outlet that, “They like Catwoman. My son likes Race the Sun.” Berry does admit that, “They haven’t seen very many of my films.”

If you haven’t yet heard of Berry’s latest project, in Never Let Go, Berry portrays a mother who will do anything to protect her twin boys from the evil spirits that are haunting them.

In the spirit of the film, the Union actress posted the definition of “momma.”

“A protector who loves unconditionally, the maker and keeper of precious memories, a soul who gives everything for her children.” She captioned the photo, “How far would you go to protect your children?”

Berry shares her daughter with ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubrey and her son with ex-husband, Oliver Martinez.

In addition to Berry, Never Let Go also stars rising stars, Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins. Never Let Go is now playing in theaters nationwide.
