Cardi B and Offset have welcomed their third child together: a baby girl.
Earlier today, Cardi shared the news on Instagram, posting a series of photos of her newborn daughter.
She wrote alongside the images, “The prettiest lil thing. 9/7/24.”
The rapper announced her pregnancy in August, shortly after she filed for divorce from her husband and fellow rapper Offset.
In her announcement, she posted a series of maternity photos, celebrating the new chapter in her life.
She captioned the images, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
The Grammy-winning artist continued, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do. It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Together, Cardi and Offset are already parents to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 3. Offset is also a father to sons Jordan Cephus, 14, and Kody Cephus, 9, and daughter Kalea Marie Cephus, 9, from previous relationships.
In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year, Cardi opened up about how her children have been her greatest blessings.
She recounted how she always wanted to have a child at 25 and was overjoyed when she found out Kulture was a girl.
“I always wanted a girl,” she said.
Although she was initially “afraid to have boys”, Cardi revealed she overcame that fear with the birth of her son Wave.
“It’s like it’s meant to be,” she added, “My kids are the best decisions I ever made.”
