Mariah Carey and her kids, Monroe and Moroccan, are “Obsessed” with Olivia Rodrigo.
The trio had the time of their lives at a recent Olivia Rodrigo concert, where they not only enjoyed VIP access but also got to meet the singer herself.
Carey took to Instagram to share photos from the event, captioning them, “We are OBSESSED with @oliviarodrigo.”
Monroe also shared her own videos and photos on Instagram, expressing admiration for Rodrigo.
“This is so late but last tuesday was the best night of my life WHATT like @oliviarodrigo i love u so much i had the time of my life it was a dream fr (i need to be quiet when i recordddd,” she wrote.
In one of the photos, Monroe could be seen smiling as she stood alongside Olivia Rodrigo, who is 5’5″.
Monroe’s dad, Nick Cannon, remarked on the picture, saying, “So Dope!!! 2 superstars in one photo!!!”
Meanwhile, fans quickly noticed the height difference between Monroe and Rodrigo, and couldn’t help but comment on it.
One fan pointed out, “Dang girl, you’re taller than Olivia Rodrigo lol.”
Monroe clarified in the comments, “Btw guys, it was my boots that were making me so tall I’m [actually the] same height as her.”
Monroe’s excitement resonated with many fans, with some drawing parallels between her admiration for Olivia and their own for Mariah Carey.

Mariah and Nick’s twins, Monroe and Moroccan, turned 13 on April 30.
Nick celebrated the occasion with a post, saying, “Can’t believe 13 years ago I was blessed with the greatest gift of becoming a father!! God has truly had his hand on the lives of two of the most loving, kind, intelligent and well balanced humans I have ever witnessed!”
