R&B singer Jacquees and his pregnant girlfriend, Deiondra Sanders, are officially engaged!
The exciting news broke over the weekend when Jacquees took to Instagram to share the moment he proposed to Sanders during their baby shower.
In a video, Jacquees is seen kneeling and placing a stunning diamond ring on Deiondra’s finger amidst cheers from their loved ones.
“I know trust hasn’t been always the easiest with me, but I want you to know you can count on me forever, and I will always try my best to be the best for you and for my family at all times,” he can be heard saying during his proposal speech.
The romantic gesture didn’t end there. Jacquees also shared a four-page proposal letter on Instagram, pouring out his feelings and gratitude for his soon-to-be wife.
In it, he wrote, “I thank God for you honestly. I always wanted to be the man of a woman’s dreams the way that you see me. I know I can be. I know I am. Our baby boy is going to be so blessed babe! I wanna seal the deal, will you marry me?”
Jacquees and Deiondra have been dating since 2023 and announced they were expecting their first child together in March. In May, the couple hosted a gender reveal party, where they announced they are expecting a baby boy.
Deiondra shared a behind-the-scenes look at the party on YouTube, revealing that Jacquees had a significant role in picking their son’s name.
“It’s only one name that he did mention that I actually really like, and it’s unisex,” said Deiondra. “I said I was going to wait until I know the gender to start picking names. But the one that he did mention—I actually really like that.”
The pair are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child—a baby boy expected to arrive this August.
