Congratulations are in order for Brittany and Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife are expecting baby number 3!
In an adorable Instagram reel, the 28-year-old mother-of-two announced that she and her husband would soon become a family-of-five.
In the video, the couple can be seen on the set of a photo shoot, all dressed in white, holding sonogram images of their new addition to the family. In addition to the couple, their daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 18 months, are also featured in the video, as they too are all clad in white, smiling, laughing and running around with the sonograms.
The 28-year-old Kansas City Current co-owner, captioned the reel, “Round three, here we come,” with a single heart at the end.
A few months ago, on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, the 28-year-old football phenom touted the fact his wife is unquestionably the MVP of mothers.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does. Taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft and everything like that,” he continued. “Just being a hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife.”
Mahomes added, “It makes things a lot easier … when you get to come home and your best friend is there. You can just hang out. It makes you want to be there all the time and so, she pushes me to be great. She’s done a lot of great things herself.”
Patrick and Brittany began dating as teenagers. He was a sophomore and she was a junior at Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas, which is seven miles north of Tyler, TX. After ten years of dating, on March 12, 2022, the couple tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii.
Needless to say, we cannot wait to see the new addition to the family.
