The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, recently helped his son, Harlem Caron Taylor, celebrate a milestone birthday, 21, acknowledging that Harlem, is now all grown up!
“Happy 21st birthday to my 1st born child @harlemtaylorr !!!!!! What a joyride it’s been to spend 1/2 of my life with you. When your mom told me she was pregnant I damn near passed out. Didn’t know what I was going to do, how I was going to do it or where it was going to come from,” the “Wanna Get to Know You” rapper started out a touching Instagram post caption, featuring a picture of his son as an infant.
“I had just woke from coma a year ago & went right back to selling dope… your grandmother said that wasn’t gonna work for her & if I was going to be in and out of her house I needed to be a man & figure out how to support you & your mother or don’t come back around. I taught myself how to rap in a few months & before you were born… I had a $1,000,000 in my bank account & moved you and your mom out of her moms house and into a condo in the valley…”
“I stayed in Compton bangin while working on The Documentary & one night while you were with me in the house sleep I packed your stuff up in preparation to drop you off to your mom… and as I was walking to the truck I got into a shoot out with one of the bullets meant for me, piercing the top of your car seat. Had I put you in the car 1st, I would’ve lost my son that day. At that moment, I knew living on the block was no longer an option for me because I loved you more than anything in the world and from then on I’ve been dedicated to making the best decisions with you in mind.”
The Game concluded his post thanking “Bam” for “being an amazing son” and telling fans more about the origins of the adorable image.

Harlem is The Game’s first born. He shares the newly-minted 21-year-old with entrepreneur, Aleska Jordan. In addition to Harlem, The Game is also father to two additional children: Cali Dream (13), and King Justice (17), with whom he shares with author, Tiffney Cambridge.
