This past weekend, music producer DJ Mustard and his girlfriend, Brittany Stroud, celebrated the upcoming arrival of their little one with a baby shower. Held on June 9th, 2024, at the luxurious Nobu in Malibu, the event was beautifully themed “Baby in Bloom.”
For the special occasion, Brittany looked radiant in a gray sequined jacquard maxi dress by Acne Studio, which perfectly showcased her baby bump. DJ Mustard complemented her look with cream-colored slacks and a blue, black and yellow Paula’s Ibiza striped cotton jersey polo sweater.
In several sweet photos, DJ Mustard tenderly cradled Brittany’s baby bump as they posed for pictures and videos. Brittany shared several snaps on her Instagram stories with one clip showing Mustard catching some well-deserved rest.
“Two baby showers, two days in a row, plus an afterparty!! The old man is tired,” Brittany captioned the clip.
In the video, the mom-to-be gently wakes him up, and he let slip the baby’s gender: “Don’t let anybody cheers to my daughter.”
Brittany first announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day, saying, “Over the moon to be celebrating my first Mother’s Day. 2 months or less until I’m pushing and meet my sweet baby.”
Along with the announcement, she shared ultrasounds and photos from her doctor’s visits, expressing her gratitude to Mustard. “Thank you for making me a mom!! I love you,” she said in a screenshot message.
DJ Mustard’s replied: “Thank you for letting me make you a mom, I love you more.”
This will be the first child for the couple. DJ Mustard has three more children with his ex wife, Chanel Thierry. Since their split in 2022, the former couple have been fighting over matters such as asset division, and child custody over their three kids.
