Ahead of Father’s Day, Nike has released their “Girl Dad” sneakers in honor of Kobe and Gigi Bryant.
Both Kobe’s eldest daughter, Natalia, and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, shared carousels of images of the new shoe on social media. Natalia captioned her post, “GIRL DAD. For our Most Valuable Girl Dad. This Father’s Day we celebrate my Dad’s love for me and my sisters with the Kobe 4 Protro ‘Girl Dad’.”
Vanessa’s message was similar as she captioned her post, “GIRL DAD. For our Most Valuable Girl Dad. This Father’s Day we celebrate Kobe’s commitment and love for our daughters Natalia, Gianna, Bianka and Capri with the Kobe 4 Protro ‘Girl Dad’. @nataliabryant.”
The new Kobe 4 Protro sneakers are “special edition” sneakers that have already, according to Nike’s official website, are already sold out.

The bicoastal green upper is inspired by Kobe’s beanie. That pairs with a mix of premium materials and a chrome heel clip. Metallic Silver branding and an icy outsole add a little shine to this refined design.
The Kobe 4 Protro has been retooled for a more responsive sensation underfoot, while the springy foam midsole houses Zoom Air in the heel for added bounce to give you an extra step for an epic dad vs. daughter showdown.
