Khloe Kardashian is, once again, facing the court of public opinion. This time, the criticism is aimed at the fact that some in the social media stratosphere feel like her six-year-old daughter, True, should not be modeling.
At the beginning of the week, the Good American co-founder and her daughter shared the exciting news that she would be the new face for children’s PJ brand, Zip N’ Bear.
“True is so excited to be the new face of Zip N’ Bear. She loves these jams and she’s more excited about the fact that ‘Little Zippy,’ who you can snuggle and cuddle with, has matching pajamas,” the mother-of-two shared in an Instagram reel.
Even Zip N’ Bear got in on the action, posting their own carousel of images announcing their excitement to have True as a part of their team.
Many Kardashian fans have shared well-wishes for True and the jump start to her modeling career. Some even admitted that they are lining up to purchase the PJs for their children from Zip N’ Bear just because of True.
Yet, there are some people out there that aren’t happy at all about True’s job and they are slamming the mother-of-two, saying that, “a kid shouldn’t be working.”
One social media user wrote, “Wtf she’s a kid shouldn’t be working.”
Another questioned, “Why don’t you teach her about helping others and donate proceeds to charity?”
A third wrote, “Oh gosh the kartrashians are throwing their nepo kids down our throat. Will they ever go away?”
“Umm no. Can’t you make your millions of dollars somewhere else?” another commenter added.
True isn’t the only next gen member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan to find themselves doing their own thing, showcasing their own talents. True’s older cousin, North West, has most recently been featured in the stage production of The Lion King, in addition to starting to not only navigate her place in the music industry, she is also one truly talented make-up artist and painter.
Zip N’ Bear is a child’s pajama line. True is a child. But most importantly, it seems as if she is enjoying her moment in the spotlight. Is there anything wrong with that? We want to know what you think!
