Sean “Diddy” Combs’ daughter, Chance Combs, is officially a high school graduate!
The 17-year-old graduated during Sierra Canyon’s 12th Grade Commencement Ceremony held on May 30th, 2024.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Chance posted on her Instagram stories, exclaiming, “I did itt.”
She later shared photos from the graduation featuring her mom, Sarah Chapman, and her siblings.
“This is just the beginning,” she wrote alongside the snaps.
Her mother, Sarah Chapman, captured her procession walk and posted it in her Instagrm stories with the caption, “Let’s Goo, Chance!”
While Chance had her close family members there to support her, her father was notably absent from the ceremony.
Sources close to the family reveal that Diddy chose not to attend the event, possibly due to his ongoing legal issues. Speculation suggests that he is attempting to shield his children from any potential negative attention.
“Fact is, Diddy might be on the verge of getting indicted, and while he’s tried continuing on as normally as possible … it’s frankly a precarious time, and it sounds like he’s trying to avoid roping his kids into the drama,” TMZ reports
This isn’t the first significant event Diddy has missed. Just two weeks prior, he was absent from his twin daughters’ junior prom.
Meanwhile, Chance is gearing up for her next chapter. She has been accepted into NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she will pursue her acting dreams as a member of the class of 2028.
Diddy took to Instagram in July to express his pride in Chance, sharing a heartwarming photo of them together.
In the caption, he wrote, “Words can’t describe how proud I am to watch you go after and accomplish your goals! GO CHANCE GO! I love you so much! @myfancychance.”
