Vanessa Bryant recently took to Instagram to share glimpses of her family’s recent getaway to New York City.
Bryant posted several photos and videos in which she can be seen enjoying some quality time with her younger daughters, Bianka and Capri.
One particularly memorable clip shows Bianka shooting basketballs with professional WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu.
Vanessa’s sweet caption read, “Had a fun time in NYC w/my babies this weekend. So glad we got to see “Beana” @sabrina_i.”
To which Sabrina commented, “Shooting definitely runs in the family.”
Missing from the excursion was Vanessa’s eldest daughter, Natalia, 21, who is currently a film student at the University of Southern California.
Earlier this month, Vanessa shared a montage commemorating what would have been her and Kobe’s daughter Gianna’s 18th birthday.
Alongside pictures and videos of Gianna and Kobe, she wrote, “Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl, Gigi! I love you. I miss you. I’m so proud of you. 2024 was your year. You would’ve been graduating high school and choosing which college to go to. ( I would’ve been trying my hardest to convince you to stay close to home).”
“I’m proud of the change in sports you and daddy worked so hard on. You continue to motivate me and inspire young women and girls daily. I love you always, mommy,” she continued.
On the same day, Vanessa also unveiled a new special edition design for the Nike Kobe 8, named “Mambacita,” after Gigi’s nickname.
Gigi and Kobe tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, in Calabasas, California. The father and daughter duo, who were 41 and 13 at the time, were on the way to a youth basketball game when the accident happened. The tragic crash also took the lives of seven other people who were on the chopper.
