DJ Mustard and girlfriend Brittany Stroud are expecting their first child together.
Brittany took to her Instagram Story on Mother’s Day to share the news, saying, “Over the moon to be celebrating my first Mother’s Day. 2 months or less until I’m pushing and meet my sweet baby.”
In addition to her announcement, the influencer shared ultrasounds and photos from her doctor’s visits, along with a sweet thank you to Mustard.
“Thank you for making me a mom!! I love you,” Stroud said in a screenshot message.
To which, DJ Mustard replied, “Thank you for letting me make you a mom, I love you more.”
The news comes amidst DJ Mustard’s ongoing legal battles with his estranged wife, Chanel Thierry. Since their split in 2022, the former couple have been fighting over matters such as asset division, and child custody over their three kids.
Recently, Mustard filed for sole legal custody of their 11-year-old son, citing concerns about his education at the school Chanel chose. He proposed an alternative public school, suggesting it would better serve their son’s needs.
He further accused Chanel of “treating” their son’s education issue “like a contest that she must win at all costs, even if that cost is irreparable educational harm.”
Mustard and Chanel married in 2020, but two years later, the deejay filed for divorce. In an Instagram post last year, Chanel shared her frustrations on social media, expressing disbelief at Mustard’s actions and his quick move into a new relationship.
She wrote, “Imagine a man leaving you after 11 years, less then a year later moving his gf into the home y’all custom built for your family, playing house with your kids then turning around and trying to paint a picture like you are a unfit parent to get custody. I’m truly flabbergasted.”
