Nick Young, nicknamed Swaggy P, and his fiancée Keonna Necole have announced that they are expecting their fourth child together!
Taking to Instagram the day after Mother’s Day, Nick shared the news alongside photos of his pregnant wife-to-be.
He captioned, “Happy Mother’s Day Super Mom @keonnanecole .. thanks for making me the luckiest man in the world a true blessing #4 on the way.”
The high school sweethearts are already parents to three kids-son Nick Jr., 12, daughter Navi, 7, and son Nyce Amaru,4.
The couple’s relationship has seen its fair share of drama, including when Keonna became pregnant with Navi while Nick was engaged to rapper Iggy Azalea.
Keonna, who appeared on VH1’s Basketball Wives, shared on the show that she left it up to Nick to break the news to Iggy. Unfortunately, Iggy discovered the betrayal on social media and subsequently called off the engagement.
In an interview with ESSENCE, Keonna reflected on their unique bond, saying, “We’ve been in and out of each other’s lives and we’ve dated other people, we have still always managed to keep in touch. It’s something that no one will be able to understand. We don’t even really understand. We’re just like, ‘You know what, we have these kids. You know, we are friends.’ We share each other’s deepest, darkest secrets. We talk a lot. We have that type of friendship.”
Despite the hurdles, Nick and Keonna’s love has stood the test of time. In 2019, the former NBA player proposed in a really sweet Christmas proposal. In a moment captured on video, he could be heard saying, “I know it’s been way overdue, baby. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
