As we get closer to the newest long-awaited installment of the Despicable Me franchise, Despicable Me 4, Illumination is keeping fans of the big screen hit on a hook, waiting with baited breath. The studio just released a new trailer for the film, and it is definitely a must-see!
According to JustJaredJr.com, Illumination has done it once again as “Gru, the supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent,” his Minions, Lucy, and the girls, will delight audiences worldwide with their action-packed mayhem. However, there is one new addition to the team-Gru Jr., who is in need of more than a few time-outs.
In the upcoming movie, Gru and Lucy and their girls —Margo, Edith and Agnes—welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru also faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run.
According to the entertainment outlet, Steve Carrell is back to lend his voice to the legendary Gru. Kristen Wiig will also return to voice Lucy. Miranda Cosgrove is set to reprise her role as Margo, Dana Gaier as Edith, Pierre Coffin as the Minions, and Steven Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom.
The new crew of voices features the comedic genius Will Ferrell as Gru’s latest rival, Maxime Le Mal, with Sofia Vergara as his flame Valentina, and Madison Polan stepping into the shoes of Agnes. Not to mention, Joey King, Chloe Fineman, Stephen Colbert are hopping aboard the movie train, adding their voices to the beloved franchise.
