In the new series, ten-year-old Hazel Wells has just moved to the big city of Dimmadelphia because of her dad’s new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it’s the first time she’s been without her brother, Antony, who’s just left for college, leaving her lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when the pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal that they are no ordinary neighbors…they’re Cosmo and Wanda, Fairy Godparents! And they’re coming out of retirement to make all of Hazel’s wishes come true.

The Fairly OddParents aired from 2001 to 2017, and became one of the most watched Nickelodeon shows at the time. According to IMDb.com, the original series revolved around Timmy Turner, his fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, and their task to constantly save him from the woes of childhood inflicted by Vikki the evil babysitter. And, as expected, even though Cosmo and Wanda would mean well, the granting of their wishes always seemed to turn into chaos and laughable antics.
The countdown is on and the whirlwind of mischief is headed our way with this upcoming reboot! The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is set to debut on May 20th at 4:30pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
