NORTH WEST MAKES DIRECTORIAL DEBUT WITH ‘TALKING’ MUSIC VIDEO

At only 10 years old, North West is proving that she is a force to be reckoned with. Following her debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 list for song “Talking”, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is stepping into the director’s chair.

Released on April 30, the second music video for “Talking” marks North’s directorial debut, showcasing her talent behind the camera.

According to the video’s YouTube description, North is credited for both directing and writing the treatment with co-direction by Aus Taylor Post, production by Medet, and cinematography by Karim Belkasemi.

Miss West, who also leads lyrically in the track alongside dad Ye and Ty Dolla $ign, takes center stage in the “TALKING” video. Ye makes a brief appearance, allowing his daughter’s creative vision to shine through.

From her first appearance on screen, donning a fashionable ensemble and oversized sunglasses, North exudes confidence and charisma as she delivers her verses with flair, surrounded by friends and fellow VULTURES enthusiasts.

“I love it, yeah / We gonna take over the year for another year (talkin’) / It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie (talkin’) / Don’t tryna test me (talkin’) / It’s gonna get messy,” she raps at the opening.

With her directorial debut, North West continues to cement her status as a rising force in the entertainment industry. Earlier this year, the tween teased her debut album, “Elementary School Dropout,” hinting at her aspirations to follow in her father’s footsteps.

In a recent interview with Jazlyn “Jazzy” Guerra of Jazzy’s World TV at Rolling Loud, West talked a bit more about the release of her album, keeping fans on the edge of their seats with her cryptic responses. When asked whether or not her father will be featured on her upcoming LP, she playfully teased, “Maybe”.
