JHENE AIKO AND DAUGHTER NAMIKO LOVE PERFORM DURING COACHELLA

Jhené Aiko brought out her daughter Namiko Love during weekend two of Coachella. The duo graced the stage together, delivering a touching rendition of their collaborative song, “Sing to Me”.

In a post following the performance, Jhené took to Instagram to give a shoutout to Nami for joining her on stage. “S/O to all the working mommies and thank you Nami for coming on stage with your mama. I love you.”

Fans couldn’t help but marvel at how much Namiko has grown, with one person commenting, “Nami is your TWINNN but she’s like… grown! Seems like she was just a lil girl smiling with those beautiful eyes and cheeks. Beautiful young lady.”

During weekend one of Coachella, Aiko shared a vulnerable moment with the crowd. The six-time Grammy nominee opened up about her dream of being a mom.

“[My dream] isn’t actually what I’m doing right now. This is beyond my wildest imagination. My dream is actually to be a mom,” Aiko said before getting  emotional.

Aiko shares 15-year-old Namiko with singer O’Ryan and a 1-year-old son Noah with current partner, Big Sean.

She continued, “Let me get it together. My dream was always to be a mom and be able to support my family. Through your support of my music and the art that I create, I’m able to do that. So, I have to let you guys know how grateful I am.”

Jhené’s Coachella performances were just a taste of what’s to come on her highly anticipated The Magic Hour Tour. And now, with Coachella behind her, she’s announced additional tour dates in Southern California, much to the delight of her devoted fans.

The tour kicks off in Detroit, Mich. on June 19 and ends in Columbus, Ohio on Aug. 22.
