Khloe Kardashian is having fun in the son with her five-year-old daughter, True. The Good American co-founder shared snaps of their spring break fun in a “Turks and True” photo shoot!
The mother-of-two shared a carousel of different images on Instagram as she and her mini-me stood in the clear blue water on the beaches of Turks and Caicos.
The 39-year-old captioned her post, “True and Turks.”
In addition to her daughter, True, Kardashian is also mother to 19-month-old son, Tatum. The Kardashians reality star shares both children with her ex-NBA star, Tristan Thompson.
And of course, it seems like just yesterday, that both children were newborns.
Kardashian took to social media commenting on how times flies and she couldn’t believe that her daughter is almost a six-year-old and how her son is “… this big already?”
Kardashian and Thompson have had a turbulent relationship; however, when it comes to their children, they have put their differences aside and have embarked upon a functional co-parenting relationship. However, Kardashian is unquestionably a mama bear when it comes to ensuring that her children are shielded from her past with Thompson in an effort to “protect their innocence“. In a cover interview earlier this year with tmrw, Kardashian opened up and spoke about how she is accomplishing this feat.
“With me and Tristan, would it be really easy to never talk to him again and to just badmouth him or whatever? Of course. But it’s way harder to be nice,” Kardashian said in her interview of the co-parenting relationship. “It’s way harder when you’re really mad at someone, it’s really hard to sit in their face in front of your kids and be like, ‘Hi!’ “
She continued, “Trust me, that’s not how I feel every day. I had to learn to take control of my feelings. There were so many times that my feelings got control of me and I was impulsive and I tweeted something or posted something and things that you regret. But in my opinion, I’ll never regret being a nice person.”
The 39-year-old told tmrw that she feels that by keeping things amicable between her and her former partner, she is “protecting their innocence.
“I want my kids to have beautiful relationships with their dad. And if we’re blessed enough to have a dad that wants to be there and wants to show up and be hands-on, why would I prevent that from happening?”
It truly does seem that Khloe Kardashian is really vying for “mother-of-the-year” whether she knows it or not. It is apparent that she is constantly putting her children first and ensuring that they not only have the best of both parents, but that they are making incredible memories that will last a lifetime as well!
