Ten- year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, North West, is truly on the fast-track for making a name for herself outside of that of her famous parents. The rising star recently gave a rare interview after her performance at Rolling Loud 2024, teasing her upcoming debut album, “Elementary School Dropout”.
The eldest of Kardashian and West’s four children can be seen in the video talking about her upcoming project with Rolling Loud’s young reporter, Jazlyn, aka Jazzy.
After greetings each other at the beginning of the interview, Jazzy asked North what everyone can expect from her album, to which multi-talented young rising star responded, “It’s going to be great.”
Jazzy pushed further asking, “When is [the album] going to drop?” North smiled, and looked into the camera responding, “Like … I don’t know.”
To wrap up the quick tease interview, Jazzy asked North if there are any collaborations with her dad on the album. North shrugged replying, “Maybe, we don’t know yet!”
According to Forbes Magazine, North made the bombshell announcement about her upcoming project at a listening party for her dad’s album, “Vultures 2”. North’s upcoming album, “Elementary School Dropout,” is a nod to her Kanye’s 2004 groundbreaking LP, “The College Dropout”.
While on stage making her announcement, North reportedly told the crowd, “I’ve been working on an album,” and then she explained the connection to Kanye’s chart-topping hit.
Apparently, the rare interview with Jazzy and Rolling Loud 2024 was orchestrated by Kim Kardashian herself. Jazzy captioned her clip of the interview, “#NorthWest talks about her new album & collabs to expect. Thank you Ms. @kimkardashian for helping out @rollingloud.”
And, in a behind-the-scenes clip of the interview, obtained by TMZ, viewers can see North chatting Jazzy Kim stood close by, keeping a watchful “manager’s” eye on her daughter.
Has Kris Jenner officially passed the crown on to Kim? We will just have to wait and see. But in the meantime, let the countdown begin until “Elementary School Dropout” hits the airwaves.
