Draya Michele is proudly flaunting her baby bump as she enters the third trimester of her pregnancy journey. The 39-year-old mom-to-be took to Instagram today to share photos of her pregnant belly.

In the latest snapshots, Draya rocks a green Arsenal jersey paired with jeans, accentuating her protruding belly. She simply captioned the post, “#28weeks #thirdtrimester.”

Last week, on International Women’s Day, Michele announced her pregnancy with her boyfriend, 22-year-old basketball player Jalen Green.

In an Instagram post, she expressed her profound gratitude for the miracle of motherhood, describing it as her ultimate” superpower”.

“As women, we navigate through so much, often leading us to question, “What is my purpose?” For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades,” she explained on the platform. “It’s my superpower. And if anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it’s the privilege of bringing another woman into existence.”

“We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl,” she continued. “I’m am excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have. We are anxious about your arrival, but take your time — this world can be tough. But know you are being brought into a space of love, security, and adornment.”

Despite the overwhelming outpouring of love and support from fans, Draya’s pregnancy news has also sparked some controversy online. More specifically,  critics have questioned the age gap between Draya and her partner, with some pointing out Draya’s eldest son is the same age as Jalen.

Draya Michele, 39, is already mom to two sons, Kniko Howard, 22 years old, from a previous relationship, and Jru Scandrick, 8, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, retired NFL player Orlando Scandrick.

Baby girl green will arrive in May 2024.
