North West made a bombshell announcement at her dad Kanye West’s recent show: she’s dropping her debut album!
North’s upcoming project, titled “Elementary School Drop out,” is a nod to her dad’s 2004 groundbreaking LP, “The College Dropout”.
Taking to the stage at Ye’s show in Arizona on Sunday, the 10-year-old declared, “Hi, It’s Northie. And i have been working on an album and it’s called “Elementary school drop out.”
This announcement comes amidst Kanye expressing concerns about his children’s education on social media
Last month, the music mogul urged his ex-wife Kim Kardashian to pull their children out of what he calls a “fake school for celebrities.”
In an Instagram post, Kanye expressed his frustrations about the education system and its impact on his relationship with his kids.
“Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now. It’s a fake school for celebrities that are used by ‘the system,'” he boldly declared.
“At this point everybody knows what “the system” is code word for. I was removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children,” he continued.
He further explained, “When the system drafts athletes they avoid working with those who have their father in their life because they are harder to manipulate. My two oldest know [who] they daddy is.”

Ye’s post echoes his previous desire for his older children to attend his school, Donda Academy, instead of Sierra Canyon.
“What they do is take all of the celebrities [kids] — the actors, the basketball players — and they throw them in this one school, and they indoctrinate the kids,” he said in 2022. “My kids are going to a school that teaches Black kids a complicated Kwanzaa… They don’t teach even Christmas itself.”
