DAMON DASH SEEKS TO REDUCE CHILD SUPPORT AFTER MAKING UNDER 6K IN 2022

According to court documents obtained by TMZ,  Dash earned a meager $5,140 throughout 2022.

The business man attributed his financial challenges to unsuccessful business endeavors and the lingering impact of the pandemic on his work since 2020.

For these reasons, Damon Dash has proposed that his monthly child support payments be reduced from $3,000 to a mere $428.

In response, Rachel Roy argued that Damon still holds a significant stake in Roc-A-Fella, which she believes should generate substantial income. Roy also alleges the existence of undisclosed revenue streams that Dash has failed to reveal to the court.

Damon Dash and Rachel Roy were married from 2005 to 2009, and they share two daughters, Ava and Tallulah Dash.

He is also father to son Dame ‘Boogie’ Dash, 32, with ex Linda Williams; son Lucky, 19, with ex Cindy Morales; and three-year-old son Dusko with fiancée Raquel Horn.

This isn’t the first time Damon has faced legal issues related to child support. In 2019, he was arrested for $404,000 in unpaid child support to Roy and Cindy Morales.

During an interview on Good Day New York, Dash claimed his arrest was a result of a “set-up”.

He explained, “The way I had the child support situated it would go into the company – Rachel Roy – she was the manager of the company, and she would pay the child support.”

As the legal drama unfolds, a judge has yet to make a ruling on Damon Dash’s plea for a reduction in child support payments, leaving the resolution of this financial dispute hanging in the balance.
