Teyana Taylor attended the Los Angeles Premiere of “The Book of Clarence” on January 05, 2024 accompanied by her two daughters, three-year-old Rue Rose and eight-year-old Iman ‘Junie’ Tayla Shumpert.
Dressed in an all black ensemble, Taylor cut a stylish figure as she posed on the red carpet alongside her girls.
Junie, matching her mother’s style, wore an all-black sparkling outfit, while Rue looked utterly adorable in a shimmering silver turtleneck beneath a black jacket paired with silver pants.
However, the cutest moment on the carpet was when Taylor’s eldest daughter, Junie, expressed her love and admiration for her mother. The tween not only praised Teyana’s talent, but also extended her gratitude to her fans.
In an interview with Television host Ashley Dunn, Junie shared, “I love my mom and i hope she gets awards everyday because she is very talented.”
She continued, “I love all of you guys. I love my fans. I love everyone who appreciates me and my mom.”
Teyana Taylor shares her two daughters with her estranged husband, basketball player Iman Shumpert. Despite filing for divorce in January 2023, the singer/actress says that she and Shumpert remain “best friends” as they co-parent their children.
Emphasizing their strong bond, Taylor wrote on Instagram, “…We are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married, we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.”
The Book Of Clarence, set for release on January 12, features a star-studded cast including Benedict Cumberbatch, James McAvoy, and LaKeith Stanfield. The storyline follows Clarence, a man hailing from Jerusalem, as he embarks on a journey filled with faith and unexpected revelations. Facing challenges in his quest for a better life, Clarence becomes entranced by the influence of the rising Messiah and eventually puts everything on the line to forge a route towards a divine existence.
