Drake posted a picture today of his six-year-old son, Adonis, with an artistically sculptured six-pack, The multifaceted entertainer and rapper playfully captioned the image with a simple yet fitting “shredder“.
To celebrate his son’s recent birthday, the “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper proudly posted Adonis’ first rap song and video on social media, captioning the post, “Happy birthday my son…MY MAN FREESTYLE OUT NOW.”
Additionally, Drake posted an Instagram story of Adonis’ first live performance of his song. The multi-faceted entertainer can be heard in the background screaming and cheering for his mini-me.
It seems as if we are seeing more and more Drake/Adonis collaborations, with Adonis taking the spotlight. With Drake’s most recent video release for, “8AM in Charlotte,” Adonis takes a starring role in the video.
In the video, Adonis is seen at the beginning, showing off his artwork to his father. The camera starts off behind Adonis, getting a full view of his artwork. As he and Drake begin talking more about the piece, the camera pans to a side view of the 36-year-old’s son.
Drake questions, “All right. Adonis, tell me about your beautiful piece of artwork that you sold me.”
Adonis begins, “So it’s the same story. So the goat was running away from the other monsters. And the other animals. And a flower blocking the way,” he explains.
And of course the “goat,” is none other than Drake himself.
However, that isn’t the only involvement that Adonis had with Drake’s new project. For the album itself, the talented young artist also drew the cover art for the entire “For All The Dogs” album.
Drake shares his only son with French artist Sophie Brussaux. Although Drake and Brussaux are no longer a couple, they are successfully navigating co-parenting and it definitely shows!
