Eva Marcille’s daughter, Marley Rae, takes great pride in her locs, as revealed in a recent interview with Xonecole at CurlyConLa.
Marcille, who is a mother of threee, went into detail with the news and media outlet about just how much her daughter embraces and loves her crown.
“My daughter is 9 and a half now, she’s been locked since she was two,” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star began.
She continued, “… My daughter, with her love of her hair, her having pride in her hair for so long, since she was two. … I live in Atlanta, and so you know, Crown pride is so real in the A, when it comes to your hair, men and women, and Marley just loves her hair.”
Marcille concluded, “And so, to see her when we go to a restaurant, she’s like ‘oh, you have two strand twist, I like your hair. I like your style.’ She’s nine, but she can clock it. She’s like, ‘okay, she has triangle parts, that’s cute mommy, I want that.’ Like, she loves her hair. She loves the versatility of it. And, she knows she’s different, but she loves it.”
In a recent interview on the Keep it Positive, Sweetie, Eva Marcille described her daughter as a “kind little girl,” adding, “That’s all I want for her. I want for my children to be kind.”
Last year, the model turned actress told BravoTV.Com that she would allow her daughter to follow in her footsteps, so to speak, enjoying all the things that she loves.
“I let her do her thing and enjoy fashion in the way in which I think it was meant to be enjoyed. Which is, whatever works for you, however you feel. And it should make you feel good at the end of the day.”
The All The Queens Men actress shares Marley Rae with her ex, Kevin McCall, with whom she split in 2015. The star also shares sons, five-year-old Michael Todd Sterling Jr. and four-year-old Maverick Leonard, with ex-husband, Michael Sterling.
