Sydel Curry and Damion Lee celebrated their birthdays last week with their children, Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee and Daryn Alicia Lee, by their side. The doting parents took to Instagram to commemorate each other’s birthday with pictures of their family.
Sydel uploaded several photos from what appeared to be a celebration for Damion’s thirty-first birthday. “Happy birthday my love,” Sydel wrote to her husband. “Thank you for who you are,” the celebrity mom continued. “My lover, my protector. I love celebrating you and seeing you happy.”
Damion also took to Instagram with a birthday post for Sydel who turned 29 years old. “Happy birthday honey,” wrote the star athlete. “I appreciate you for who you are,” Damion exclaimed. “I love how you are able to be an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunty (sic), cousin, and friend to all that know you! We all love you for that!”
Sydel Curry and Damion Lee welcomed their second child, Daryn Alicia Lee, earlier this year. Sydel wrote a beautiful message to her husband after giving birth to their daughter.
“You showed me love,” the celebrity mom began. “I will never take for granted the person you are and the strength you give me through every phase of life we’ve been through,” Curry shared. “You make me feel beautiful and loved in ways I never knew were possible. My greatest flex is making you the father of our children.”
Sydel and Damion announced their expectancy of a second child months into her pregnancy experience. “It’s just kind of been a totally different experience for a multitude of reasons,” Sydel said during a Q&A segment with fans.
“Without giving too much away before going into the questions, this has been a completely different pregnancy just in the fact that like I have a whole child to take care of and we moved to a different state,” the celebrity mom explained. “We moved to Arizona in September,” Sydel told her fans. “We got pregnant in December, so we were only really here in this new environment for a couple of months before this happened.”
Damion and Sydel conceived by way of IVF treatments. “This was an IVF baby,” Curry declared during her Q&A segment. “We didn’t have to do another egg retrieval or IVF cycle,” she shared. “We had nine embryos left over, and so we just transferred another embryo and thankfully it worked on the first time.”
Daxon celebrates his second birthday next month. Sydel Curry and Damion Lee commemorate five years of marriage this year.
