When we talk about Christmas, there’s one name that inevitably comes to mind—the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey. Recently, the mother-of-two appeared in a new holiday campaign for the Children’s Place alongside her 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
Carey shared an image of the collaboration on social media writing, “Lambs, I know you want to be prepared for the holidays like I am! I’ve partnered with the amazing @childrensplace and designed (for the first-time-ever!!!) a limited-edition gown that is perfect for the season.”
She concluded in the post, “Get this mesmerizing dress, matching PJs and so much more glam at the place to be this season, THE CHILDREN’S PLACE!”
In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, the 54-year-old songstress discussed the details of the “An Iconic Holiday: Part 3” campaign, delving into why working with The Children’s Place was the perfect collaboration.
“The Children’s Place is a household name, and it truly dominates the children’s apparel space, so I’ve always been a fan of theirs,” she explained in her interview. “Secondly, I’m just someone who absolutely loves the holidays. I mean, that’s obvious, but I really do love holidays, specifically Christmas.”
The “All I Want for Christmas Is You singer continued, “My kids and I have a matching pajama set or two that we wear, and it’s just fun and a cute way to celebrate the holidays together.”
And of course, getting the opportunity to work with “DemTWEENS” was something truly special and “really fun” for the singer.
She told the entertainment news outlet that she and her children “have a blast on set.”
“We had a blast on set. They’re really such troopers,” she adds. “To use my love of them in my work is so rewarding.”
