Kylie Jenner and her two children are enjoying fall. The Kylie Cosmetics founder, five-year-old Stormi, and one-year-old Aire, were recently out and about taking in the sights, smells, and sounds of their local pumpkin patch.
The 26-year-old mother-of-two shared a few images of the fun on her Instagram stories.
In one image, she shares a picture of her son sitting in her lap, in what appears to be on a tractor ride. In another, she shares a shot of the star attractions themselves…just the pumpkins.
And, in a third image, she shared a sweet shot of her daughter Stormi holding hands and walking with friend Ayla. Ayla is the daughter of Jenner’s friend Yris Palmer.
However, the journey to fall hasn’t been all Pumpkin Spice for the Kylie SKIN founder. If you remember, back in August of this year, Jenner released her new Bratz Dolls. The Kardashians reality star was accused at the time of “blackfishing” because the dolls were much darker than they should be, as they are a supposed reflection of Jenner.
Many long time fans of the dolls were were not only extremely disappointed in the skin tone of the dolls, but they were disappointed overall with the with the company itself. Fans said that since the Bratz revolution, the dolls have leaned towards representing a more Urban culture. Many felt that building a collaboration with Jenner wasn’t what they would have expected.
One Twitter user summed up the majority of the comments, tweeting, “Giving Kylie (a white woman who modeled her face/body around Black women) her own Bratz doll (which is an arguably more Urban/Black presenting doll) before an ACTUAL Black woman is… weird.”
Jenner herself never responded to the backlash directly, via a press release she made the simple statement that, “I have always been a fan of Bratz since childhood and I’ve always wanted my own Bratz doll.”
The statement continued, “I have loved every step of the process this past year in creating these dolls alongside the Bratz team. I’m so excited they are here!”
Jenner shares her two children with “Astroworld” rapper, 32-year-old Travis Scott.
