Rapper Tyga and his son King Cairo attended a special influencer screening of “The Exorcist: Believer” on October 4, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
Tyga, who hosted the event, enjoyed quality time with his soon-to-be 11-year-old son as they immersed themselves in the world of horror. The pair seemed to savor every moment, and their excitement was evident in the snapshots Tyga posted on Instagram.
In his Instagram post, the musician expressed his gratitude to Universal Pictures for arranging the private screening. “Thank you @universalpictures for the private screening of @theexorcistbeliever in theaters tomorrow.”
The father-son outing comes less than a week after King’s mother, Blac Chyna, filed documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court expressing concerns about her co-parenting arrangements with Tyga.
Chyna, who is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their son. wants the court to keep Tyga from “interfering” and “dictating [her] parenting time.”
In the documents, she stated, “I am seeking Court orders so that I am not begging Respondent or his mother for time with our son. I have made multiple attempts to request additional time with King, but at the direction of Respondent, his mother PJ will either ignore my requests or reply that the schedule will not change,” Chyna, born Angela White, says in the documents.
“For this reason, I am urging the Court to establish custodial orders so that I can begin to have frequent and continuing contact with our son and so that I am provided equal access in the decision-making process as it relates to his health, safety, and welfare.”
Following the filing, a source close to the situation informed PEOPLE that the 35-year-old mom “has a direct line of communication with King and can contact him anytime.”
The source further elaborated, “Tyga has paid for everything, from school to medical bills and for his everyday livelihood. He is very hands-on as a dad. She knows where Tyga lives. She wants 50/50 custody so she can file for child support.”
