Tamron Hall is working very hard to create a safe space and a safe community for her son. “I’m trying to teach him to be as confident outside of our home as he is inside,” Hall recently told digital publication The Spruce for their Fall in Love with Color issue.
“He recognizes this safe space and we all do. We all have that circle of friends we trust where we can be ourselves and family.” Hall continued saying, “We have all these environments of safety where we show up as our authentic selves. I try to teach him through my own experiences how to do that, and he’s 4.”
The 53-year-old Texas native discussed how she is doing some redecorating now that her four-year-old son, Moses is gone to day school. The daytime talk show host told The Spruce in a recent interview that she turned her son’s nursery into her shoe closet.
“When things changed and he went off to day school, it was like when you go off to school and your parents change your room,” she joked. “We got rid of his stuff, and it became the shoe room.”
Exactly two weeks ago (September 14), Moses started school and he nor his mother “didn’t want to let go”.
“First day of a school,” Hall captioned a post of the preschooler getting ready for his new adventure. “He didn’t want to let go and neither do I 💜,” the celebrity mom shared.
Hall shares her only son Moses with music manager, Steven Greener. The couple became first-time parents in April of 2019. In a previous interview Hall took a moment to talk about her journey as a mother, including how she has served as a mother figure for nieces and nephews.
“For me, I have three nieces and a nephew who refer to me as their other mom, and I’ve always felt very appreciated on this day by them,” Tamron told the press. “Also, for me, I didn’t have my child until much later in life,” the talk show host added. “And there were so many other mother figures in my life that it was always a very important, and is an important day for me. I’m very, very close with my own mom. We are best friends.”
