Kim Kardashian‘s eldest daughter, North West, is proving that she is budding artist. The ten-year-old recently painted an impressive sunset, and her proud mother showed it off to the world on social media.
Kardashian posted the calming oil painting of a beach sunset on her Instagram stories, captioning it, “North’s new painting 🩷💜🧡💛”
However, there are many critics that are not convinced that the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is actually as talented as the SKIMS founder says that she is.
Back in 2021, Kardashian posted another oil painting by the young artist, captioning it, “Just had to post this on my main feed bc it’s a North West Classic!”
Many naysayers compared North’s painting to those of renowned artist, Bob Ross, questioning whether or not North actually did the painting herself. While others, questioned whether or not she was taking a “paint by numbers” class or something similar.
At the time, Kardashian took to Instagram to vehemently defend her daughter and her talent.
The mother-of-four wrote:
“DON’T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!”
“My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured. North worked incredibly hard on her painting with took several weeks to complete. As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone.”
The 42-year-old continued, “I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and on social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this! How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome!?!?!”
Kardashian concluded, “Please stop embarrassing yourself with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!!! NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT PERDIOTDDDDDABCDEFGZFDT!!!!!”
In addition to 10-year-old North, Kardashian shares three other children with rapper/entrepreneur, Kanye West. The couple are also parents to seven-year-old Saint, five-year-old Chicago, and four-year-old Psalm.
