NIPSEY HUSSLE’S EX DEMANDS NEW HEARING REGARDING GUARDIANSHIP OF 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

The guardianship battle over Nipsey Hussle‘s 14-year-old daughter continues. Recently, Tenisha Foster submitted court documents, requesting an emergency hearing regarding the guardianship of the teen.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Foster is demanding that the court-appointed attorney who represents her daughter, Emani, be replaced with another lawyer. This request comes weeks after attorney William Spiller formally alleged that Foster possesses “unlawful” recordings of conversations between himself and Emani.

Spiller, who has been representing the minor child since 2019, stated that just recently he became aware of the unlawfully recorded tapes and demanded that Foster turn them over. He called the recordings, “surreptitious, unlawful, [and] unapproved.” The attorney called for the judge in the case to order Foster to turn over the recordings and the device she used to record them.

Spiller went on further to request that the court sanction Foster financially for not turning over the recordings or device. He asked the court to fine her $2,500.00.

Foster objected to the request stating that she doesn’t think that she should be ordered to produce the recordings or device.

In lieu of Spiller’s requests to the court, Foster filed her own emergency motion asking for Spiller to be replaced as the court-appointed attorney for her daughter. Her filing did not reveal the reason behind the request.

The late rapper’s family has had guardianship of Emani since the 2019 murder of Nipsey Hussle. Upon Nipsey Hussle’s death, Foster expressed her desire to regain guardianship of her daughter; however, Nipsey’s family provided the courts with proof that she was unfit to care for her daughter, citing her history of drinking and violence.

A hearing in this particular phase of Emani’s guardianship battle has been set for later this year.

Nipsey Hussle was murdered outside of his clothing store in 2019. The beloved recording artist left behind two children, Emani and Kross (mother: Lauren Landon) as beneficiaries of his estate.  The children are set to receive a portion of his $8 million.
