Congratulations are in order for two-time NBA Champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and his wife McKenzie. On August 23, 2023, duo welcome their fourth baby, Kendall Raquel Caldwell-Pope, into the world.
The proud mother posted 48-hours after Kendall’s birth on Instagram, giving a glimpse into the new addition’s first moments as a Caldwell-Pope.
She captioned the carousel of images, “8.23.23 Kendall Raquel Caldwell-Pope made her grand entrance and we have been soaking up these precious moments. It’s safe to say we are all obsessed! Kendall you are so loved. A glimpse into the first 48 hours with our sweet baby girl. 🎀”
The 30-year-old 6’5″ shooting guard for the Denver Nuggets shares three other children with his wife: Kenzo, Kentavious Jr. and Kendrix.
Prior to Kendall’s arrival, the couple celebrated their Baby Moon in Positano, Italy. Kentavious captioned a carousel of vacation images saying, “God said be fruitful and multiply 🥹🤣💯🍋🍇🍓👶🏽👶🏽👶🏽👶🏽 #babynumber4.”
And of course, everyone from fellow athletes to celebrity friends and those in between all sent well-wishes on behalf of the new addition to the family.
“Daryn says hey twinnnn! 🩷,” Steph Curry’s younger sister Sydel Curry wrote.
Kyle Kuzma said, “Let’s goooo,” Washington Wizards power forward.”
Kamiah Adams commented, “Kendall Kendall 💗💗💗 you’re already SO loved. Good job mama! 😍”
“You finally got your girl! So happy for you all. Congratulations!!!!! 💕💕💕💕” Minaa Bentley, founder of the Minaa Monroe clothing line said.
One social media user summed it up for all of us as Kentavious has officially become a #girldad.
“Look at Kenzo’s face .. she’s got the whole house wrapped around her little fingers ❤️❤️❤️ I love this good job mama!!”
Kentavious and McKenzie have been married since 2016. The couple met at a club in Dallas, TX when Kentavious was in town for a game.
“After we spoke for a while he invited me to come see him play,” McKenzie told Brides.com in a 2017 interview. “I had no idea what he meant, but he explained he played for the Pistons and was in town for a game. I went, and we’ve been together ever since.”
