Alexis Ohanian is making sure that he spends as much quality time with his eldest daughter, Olympia as he can. Recently, the duo set out to have some fun and it ended up, according to the Reddit co-founder, being the “best day ever!”
“Papa stop taking a selfie, I’m trying to build.” I gave Olympia the “best day ever” this weekend, where she could pick whatever she wanted to do,” Ohanian said in a recent Instagram post. “It started with building a microscope. I’m so proud. I love this time with our (NEW) 6 year old.”
Ohanian and wife, tennis legend, 41-year-old Serena Williams, recently welcomed their second daughter to the world.
The father-of-two excitedly announced the birth of his second daughter on social media, revealing her name to the world.
“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT,” he said. “Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter 🙏 I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister. Your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.”
Two months ago, the tech entrepreneur told People Magazine that he felt ready and confident to welcome baby number two. Mostly in part, due to their parenting Olympia.
“We’re not first-time parents anymore. I feel more confident about having a newborn, all of those things that I just had zero confidence about with Olympia because I’d never even been around babies at that point in my life.”
In the interview, Ohanian admitted that although they were ready, they may still have a “rude awakening” as they haven’t had a baby in the house in six years.
“I think I’ve definitely forgotten what it’s like to have a new one around, so it might be a rude awakening, maybe literally,” he said in that interview. “But right now, we’re excited.”
Alexis is unquestionably in the running for father-of-the year! It definitely looks like they are more than excited to add Adira to the Ohanian family! Congratulations, we cannot wait to see more pictures of this adorable bundle of joy alongside her equally as precious sister!
