SEVEN-YEAR-OLD TULSAN MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST BLACK TINY MISS PRINCESS OF AMERICA

Major congratulations are in order for seven-year-old, Paris Simone Sherra Epps. The Tulsa-native has just made history by becoming the first Black Tiny Miss Princess of America National Queen ever to hold the coveted pageant title!

The pageant took place in July of this year and a little of a month later, Paris still cannot believe that she holds the title.

“I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I was crowned your 2023 Tiny Miss Princess of America!! I will never forget the joy I felt knowing that all my hard work had paid off. I was all smiles standing with my new pageant bestie Krysten. I looked over to her and she looked over to me and we were both equally happy for each other,” Paris reminisced about her win in a post on Instagram.

She continued saying, “It felt so good hearing all my friends behind me clapping and showing me so much love and support because that is what it’s all about. I will never forget this day! Thank you Princess of America for making all of my dreams come true! I love my POA!”

According to, The Oklahoma Eagle, as a national titleholder, the Drexel Academy student will receive the official custom crown, banner, flowers, crystal award, cash scholarship, travel opportunities, including a Caribbean cruise, as well as many other gifts and prizes during her reign. 

Per the news outlet, winners who take home the crown, also receive a professional photo shoot and gift reception where they receive many sponsored gifts from supporters of the Princess of America Pageant. Additionally, Paris will spend the year traveling to other states in the country in order to make appearances, representing Princess of America organization. During this tour, Paris will have the opportunity to promote “Paris to the Rescue.” “Paris to the Rescue” is Paris’s platform that she uses to promote and increase awareness and adoption for rescue animals.

Congratulations, Paris! We cannot wait to see what is next for you. We have a feeling that we will see you one day in the future winning the Miss America crown.
