Co-Parenting goals! Over the weekend, Omarion and Apryl Jones came together to celebrate their son Megaa Grandberry’s 9th birthday. The soccer-themed event took place at MB2 Entertainment, an entertainment park with a plethora of attractions, both indoor and outdoor. From bowling to virtual reality, arcade games to go-karts, the venue offered a fantastic experience that surely made Megaa’s day unforgettable.
Apryl Jones took to social media to express her heartfelt emotions on her son’s special day. Sharing an old picture of her and Megaa, she reflected on the passage of time and how precious these moments are
She wrote, “Found this old pic and was reminded of how time truly flies by, and how we don’t get the time back. Megaa you’re 9 today! Woah! I love you so much! You’ve changed my life more than I can express in words, and I’m so grateful to be your mother. Watching you grow and mature into “you” has been such a joy! You’re the sweetest most loving lil man, you make me so proud! Happy birthday baby!”
Omarion, on the other hand, opted for a more introspective approach. While he refrained from extending birthday wishes to his son, he emphasized that fatherhood goes beyond single day in the year.
“A father is the one friend upon whom we can always rely. It’s Father’s Day everyday over here,” he said.
Omarion recently opened up about the status of his co-parenting relationship with Apryl Jones in an exclusive interview with The Shade Room. He shared that their relationship is in a transformative state, leaving room for new ideas and methods to emerge.
“We’re still in a transformative state. Like I said, I’m the type of person who likes to leave room for some new ideas, some different methods. I’m all for that. But we are in a transformative state right now,” the singer said.
Omarion and Apryl split in 2016 shortly after welcoming their second child, A’mei, now seven years old.
